Will Microsoft launch Zune Phone at MWC?

Zune phone rumors have been buzzing the web ever since Zune HD came out last year. It’s still officially rumor at this point, but it’s expected that the Microsoft will launch Zune Phone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona this month.

Two models, codenamed Turtle and Pure, are speculated to be the much talked about Zune phones. The phone will supposedly run on the Tegra platform, NVIDIA’s powerful system on a chip that was also used in the Zune HD and will be used by a number of upcoming tablets as well.

The noteworthy part about these Zune phones as per the industry experts is that the ‘Zune Phone’ will actually be a smart phone running on the mobile version of Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system and it would have Zune software installed.

Though Microsoft is yet to confirm the launch of the much talked about Zune Phone, mock-up photos of the device are being released all over the internet!
